O governo do Estado de São Paulo retoma o projeto de concessão da loteria estadual à iniciativa privada, após mais de um ano de interrupção.

No dia 21 de dezembro, será realizada uma audiência pública, tanto presencial na sede da Agência Reguladora de SP quanto online, para apresentar à sociedade a possível concessão do serviço e colher sugestões para a futura licitação.

O governo busca um novo modelo, após a suspensão anterior, que pretendia conceder a Loteria Estadual para um único operador, gerando descontentamento no cenário local e internacional de loterias. O processo retomado segue o mesmo protocolo inicial do Programa Estadual de Desestatização, com oportunidade para manifestações até 18 de dezembro.

The government of the State of São Paulo resumes the project to grant the state lottery to the private sector, after more than a year of interruption.

On December 21st, a public hearing will be held, both in person at the SP Regulatory Agency headquarters and online, to present the possible concession of the service to society and gather suggestions for the future tender.

The government is looking for a new model, after the previous suspension, which intended to grant the State Lottery to a single operator, generating discontent in the local and international lottery scene. The resumed process follows the same initial protocol as the State Privatization Program, with the opportunity for demonstrations until December 18th.
